My crocheting is coming along - trouble is i have seen soo many other lovely things on other blogs that i want to make it all like yesterday!
This is going to be a bag (hopefully) inspired by Lucy at Attic 24 - she does crochet with such amazing colours
the colours are not quite what i want but as its my first go i'm just using what i've got around.
Am also doing these squares for a blanket -
am using little big wool, as i got some in a sale at new year - my aim is to do one a day from now on - but, hey, that might be a bit ambitious!!! If you want to see more granny squares check this blog out - Meet me at Mikes - there are some great ones on here.
Progess is also being made on the quilted 'flag' i'm doing for a friend - she wanted it half as big again as the one in the book i have, so had to re-calculate all the bits, etc.!
there are 9 hearts to be appliqued altogether - then i have to do the wadding and backing and quilt it - easy!! (haha!). but before i go any further i want her to see it to check that its the right size.
Socks!!! i love what everyone else is doing - i seem to have a complete mental block where knitting with more than two needles is concerned - so not much progress is being made as i have frogged this countless times!
but am not giving up yet!! (I promise its not the same pic as in previous posts!!)
Am now going to have a cuppa and quick look through the blogs and then am going to do some baking - i fancy scones - with lots of jam and cream! Mmmmmm.
have a lovely may day.

Look at you go!!! Your crocheting is coming along fabulously Maria!! Love the yarn you're using for the socks, such a pretty colour. I've done a grand total of 2 rows on mine ... LOL!!
well aren't you a busy bee?? Well done with your crocheting....I can only do squares that keep on going round and round..LOL and end up as huge rugs!!!
Busy girl , any scones left?
You're doing really well on that crocheting! I'm still trying to perfect the crocheted jar jacket!
I have a huge fear of knitting on more than 2 needles, so I applaud your courage in even trying to knit socks. The flaggy quilt is lovely.

I reckon you're doing really well with the crochet and the sock knitting - and scones for tea sound great - I'll be round in 5 minutes!

Great crocheting Maria...and having seen it in real life, I don't know if people realise how big your squares and bag are going to be! Fab work, I have been inspired by your big crochet an want to make a bag now, after the painting, bunting,brooches....etc etc are finished ;)
I bow down to your crochet expertise! The sock is coming on well(ish!) too - the yarn is very pretty anyway! Love the flag.
Love looking at your crochet. I have done it for a long time and thought I just might have to get it out again. Yours are looking so good.
i wouldn't mine a scone with a cuppa. Wish you live a bit closer.
Lookee here - if I can knit socks anyone can - stick with it, you'll do it!
Your crochet is looking fab! I've just dug out four old granny squares and have blocked them. I can't get over how much better they look when they're blocked - they actually look square!!
My head is so very full of things to knit, sew, crochet right now that I fear it may burst! Looks like you're doing the same :-)
