Have been asked to make a snowman costume for a little bod - making clothes is not really something i'm good at so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas or knows of any good patterns. Any help gratefully received!

Sorry Maria ... I'm no help to you at all, but good luck and I'd love to see it when you're done :o)!!
Love n hugs,
Joy :o)
Maria, I've got a pattern in a Jane Asher book for a snowman - very easy, mostly made from cheap wadding. Would you like me to copy it and stick it in the post?
I guess it isn't helpful to suggest leaving small bod outside overnight is it?
I'm not much help on the sewing front - I'd probably rummage through my airing cupboard for a few old pillowcases and cut holes in them to cobble something together. Best of luck x
eeekk why do schools only give you short notice for these things. hhmmm how about a pillow case and then stick wadding all over it ?
I think the only pattern for kids costumes I have is for a nativity. You could maybe do the shepherd's robes in white, with a white hood for the head, and decorate accordingly? If you'd like me to, I can turf it out and post it off to you? x
Luckily I only have a donkeys tail to make! I am actually rubbish at fancy dress and I think because I 'sew' everyone expects me to come up with something amazing. Good luck.
